Considering it's not even Dish's property, all they do is lease space, blaming it on them is idiotic.
:clap Yes, thanks Scott and also to the DIRT team for all the updates.

It was Grail, I thought I told you that?Dish is who we buy the service from, we blame them, they blame SES.

It was Grail, I thought I told you that?Seriously though, some of the causes, in truth may never be told.....
are the other receivers SD or HD?We have two dish receivers....connected to four tv's...the Dvr receiver for the master bedroom and living room is coming up with the total signal loss message but when I go to the other tv's with no DVR they still have signal...when I contacted Dish via chat before their chat went down they said it was a satellite issue...how is that possible if one of the receivers in the house still has signal?

Hi Simon!
Facebook scares me. Am I old?EDDIE! Dang man! You were early to the "good fight" - now that we're over on Facebook, I've missed your thoughts!
This shows why satellite companies have backups and how fragile they really are.

Hi guys! Been a LONG time.
I saw a post from someone about timers not switching over from HD to SD. That's not quite right.
Possibly depending on receiver model (622 here), and channel number (use the low ones), it WILL switch, but you might have to reboot the box.
I am in the old habit of using the 9xxx channel numbers for "cable" channels due to an old bug with SD/HD selection, and they will NOT switch.
Locals using 2-digit numbers probably will, but if you use the 4-digit numbers, they won't.
AND = this is post #500 = what do I win?
