SatelliteGuys will be unavailable for a few hours on Sunday Morning as we perform a necessary upgrade and tune up on our server.

The work however could be postponed if there is any big breaking DirecTV news.

Thanks for your support. :)

Just another reminder that SatelliteGuys will be unaviable for a period tommorow morning.

Also I just got in from a day away and I got over 80 PM's and Emails in my inboxes. It may take me awhile to get to all of them.

If you sent a tehnical question please post it to the forums for a faster reply. :)

Thanks!

The server update went well.

We upgraded from Apache 1 to Apache 2.2.6 and also updated our PHP to the newest version.

I should note that the new Apache has not been optimized yet. vBulletin wants us to run for at least 24 hours before requesting optimization. So this way they can see what they need to optimize. :)

If you see any issues please report them here.

Thanks for your support.

No reports yet. (Good!)

Also the server load is back below 1.0 again (It was up to around 5 when I woke up to do the update this morning)

Are e-mail notifications working, I haven't seen anything that I think I should have?

Nothing in the email system has been touched.

In addition I have been getting notifications.

However it is something I will keep an eye on. :)

I am very happy with the upgrade.

Yesterday at this time we had 2,000 online and our server load was over 8.
Today we have 2,000 online and the server load is 1.12.

I can't seem to edit any of my posts anymore. Could this be upgrade related???

Just wondering.

Hey - looks like I can edit this post, but not my last one in the FAH thread. :)

You can't edit your posts after a certain period of time. :) (I think it's an hour)

This keeps people from going back and trying to change history. :D
