Hi Folks,
:)

I'm new to this group and hope that I get help with answers.

Does anyone here knows where could I find a Pro-form H-180
mount?? Which includes a gear motor and a 24" mount that
goes onto the back of the big dish, with the Pro-form H-180
gear motor.

I do have one, both Pro-Form H-180 motor and it's 24" mount.
But I do have another 10 foot dish antenna without one.

Anyone here knows elsewhere that may still have LEFT OVER
Pro-form H-180 motor in warehouses???

If there are some, then my next question is, who makes
a gear motor itself?? What if my Pro-form H-180 gear motor
dies, then what replace it???

Hope all infos. helps for answers.

Thank you,
:)
Eugene

Hi gabshere.
:)

Thank you for your quick reply.

The link that you provided, is exactly what I bought the
Pro-form H-180 from. I paied $499 for one pacakge, that
was in 2004.

YES, can share the photos of my Proform H-180 mount and
gear motor. However, I couldn't post them, like copy and paste.
So, the only way that I can do is to upload attachment.
I added photos and tex in Mircrosoft words format.
Let me know it comes through and that you're able to view them.

Hope the photos helps with answers that you might have.

Hi Gabshere,
:)
The Orbit Communications site
It shows "Discontinue". :( So, do you have any other ideas
or suggestions?? I e-mailed Mike Kohl about it, but no response
yet. As I recalled, I've been in contacted with Mike Kohl before
back in 2004, wrote to me in an angry way said that he HATED
KTI. I believe I've SAVED his e-mail onto a CD.
If so, then I don't understand, because KTI stands for
Kohl Techtronic Incorp. which I believe it's HIM???
So, if he hates KTI, then why he's complaining himself, anyway???
He would be "kicking himself" around if he does hates it.

I don't know why he wrote me an angry e-mail back then.
Told me never ever byy KTI dish that he made.

I guess that he doesn't want to know that HE'S THE ONE
who got into trouble with the copyright on the dish mount
from someone who invented before.

Hope you could help.
Thanks,
:)

Anole,

I ment to say seriously, not funny.
I never said it's funny. So, I don't know
where you got to think of "not funny".
I was expressing from what I thought I
understood from the names It was
missunderstanding between the names.
But let's move on.

Thanks for correcting my spellings. Different names, unrelated.

Mike Kohl (Not Kaul) of Global Communications. suggested I should find
a local machine shop that would build the ring mount that I'm
looking for. My guess is that I would have to take one of my
extra ring mount to show them for them to make one.

:)

Yes, absolutely ! - :up
I'm not sure how much of a machine shop it'd take.
Maybe just a friend with a few metal tools and possibly a welder.
Do you have a kid in high school, with access to a metal shop?
Talk to the local high school shop teacher.
Maybe a well equipped garage or muffler shop? - :D

My comment from the AJAK thread where you mentioned this nice motor:
E - since you already have one as an example, maybe you could build a second bracket?
Just a thought, if a ready-made one doesn't show up.
Best of luck... and do post pictures when you can. - :up

All I can say is this... if I had the motor, there would be no stopping me from fabricating an adapter to some big dish!

I have a Proform H-180 motor assembly in perfect working condition for sale. The motor was used with a 10' mesh dish in a 4dtv setup. All other shippable parts of the installation (professional C-band LNB, Chaparral feedhorn assembly, 4dtv receiver DSR 920) are also for sale.
Asking price is $359. Let me know if you are interested.

THE MOTOR IS SOLD

Hi Bi.
YES, I'm interested in seeing the gear mootor for the
H-180 mount. How much are you selling it for??
Can send it to me in private message.
Thank you,
Eugene

I think it would be instructive if everybody who has one, would be so kind as to post pictures.
Outside and inside, as is convenient.
Knowing this motor on sight, would be valuable.

edit:
EZcruz - in the previous thread, you said you had an AJAK-180 motor.
Now, I'm confused.
