I have HD tivos and just dumped Dish HD for DTV. I never had a problem with the amount of season pass slots until now. I just got a Direct TV HR22 DVR and its limited to 50, I never reached a limit with Dish or Tivo. Also With Dish and Tivo one word could be used for multiple shows like Holmes on Holmes and Holmes Inspection but with DTV I have to use 2 slots. Now I have to delete any shows not showing and remember to reenter them when they start the new season. Is there any way around the 50 limit or is this life with DTV?

Sorry no!! What you could do is, if you have any shows that are back to back on the same channel is to create a series list for the first one and set it to run an hour longer. Of course, the Playlist wouldn't show the second title.
