As a follow-up to my initial posting about the 50ft of coax - the every night phenomenon of an 'error 771' is gone. I do, however, occasionally still get the 771 but it's random and I haven't figured out a common factor to the occurrences yet (probably happens once a week).
What's more frustrating right now is the guide data missing for the past X hours error that interrupts my timers....
