Searching for satellite signal problem...

About every 10 minutes or so i will get searching for satellite signal, then have to reboot my receiver, then it comes back on fine. Does anyone know if one of their recent software upgrades could have caused this? My signal is in the 80's (on all satellites) in the signal meter.

The tuner might be dying out on me. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I had a problem like that that turned out to be a dying lnb.

Software shouldn't cause that, there haven't been many changes lately and I haven't seen anyone else report something like that.

Check all your wires, make sure no bites, etc. Check connectors for water seals. Beyond that, may need a servicec call unless you are comfortable troubleshooting replacing parts.
