DO let us know what he found. He may well throw several things at it at once- which sometimes makes it difficult to tell what exactly fixed it. Usually not time to do single "fixes", bring receiver back up (reset necesary sometimes)-replace another part/check..replace another/check. If he pulls LNB and sees a connector that looks marginal he will probably replace it and the LNB at once and probably peak the dish while he's at it. If there is a jumper on the LNB he may replace the barrel and weather boots. I would. If that cures the problem you really don't know if one or any of the others alone would have done so.....and it doesn't matter.
