screen safe mode

How do i disable this option? My screen goes a little dark after long period of idle.

First question: why would you want to disable the screen saving options?
Second ??: Is this the TV or D* option? I know my tv reduces image by 50% contrast when I am watching a DVD and it is paused for a few minutes. But with D*, after about 5 minutes of no interactivity, the D* logo floats around a black screen background.

no i'm watch the nfl game mix channel, and after a few mins of inactivity, it's dimming my screen. When i move the icon on that channel around then it lights up. How do i disable this?
