Screen blinking off and on

We had some storms today. Got home and turned on and the screen is blinking off and on. Mostly off. Hard reset several times. Joey is working ok. Took new HDMI cable and plugged directly from hopper to tv and same think. Is my hopper bad?

Tried hooking up component inputs and they work but need the HDMI.

Hooked up audio cable from hopper to av receiver an component cable to tv to get me by. I use my av receiver to control everything. Could dirt member email me? If can't get HDMI to work will have to set up a replacement. When it is starting up during a reset the screen stays then goes to the off on thing again.

Did you check to be sure it's the Hopper HDMI output that is having the problem and not the TV or A/V Receiver HDMI input?

Yes. I bypassed everything and tried using a different input on TV. PC, playstation and av receiver works fine on all inputs. Even tried new cable. It is just the hopper HDMI output that messes up.

Have new receiver coming thanks to dirt team. Hopefully will have sling or will need to exchange it.

You'll most likely receive the same model. If you didn't have a Hopper w/Sling, they don't "upgrade" you during a replacement like this.
