Here are some of my photos from CES. Still have one more memory card shot by Ramy that I haven't found yet. :)

Enjoy!

I am so impressed, not just to be a member.......I do not want to start a war, but wish Directv would come aboard. They could and should, even though I am not a sub...........I am impressed that SG has a presence...............

Question about the Entropic poster

Now on the far left it says in our booth. There is a grey block of bandwith that says MR-Tivo DVRS as in Multi Room Tivos or were they just some generic S3 with content sharing on.

I didn't see any Tivo's in their booth even though it was listed on the poster.

I did hear DIRECTV was there and had a private room where they showed off the new HD Tivo prototype. And from the people who claim they were in the limited group to see it, they told me they were not impressed. We were of course not invited to see it, Thanks DIRECTV! :D

I just wondered. As last i heard just from press and interviews. Tivo was not going to be RVU compliant and and had no plans on supporting RVU which would mean no MRV from DTV unless they are making the exception for D* . If DTV/Tivo actually do release a new Tivo unit it will probably mean hell froze over and the devil gave free sled rides. I think hd tivo will die much like the Tuner card for D* that was for windows media center.

OMG! You saw Leo!?!

I'm sorry, but it seems like Tivo's current business plan is to litigate instead of innovate. I've never seen a company so stagnant (wait I have it's name is SiriusXM). If all they are going to do is a Tivo Premier with DirecTV, then you can pretty much just write them off as being dead. They'll have their die hards who will keep using Tivos just because they are fanboys, but they will slowly be chipped away as the rest of the industry leaps over them. And the wait for the holy grail of Tivos becomes a death march.

That is like being impressed by a horse and buggy after the invention of a car. TiVos are old and outdated. We need to get over our fascination with what is currently one of the worst DVRs

The Directv HR's are one of the worst receivers around.

Ask the Millions that don't have HR24's
