SC or BEV?

I'm in Kansas and am trying to decide between SC & BEV. I'll be getting a SC 530 or BEV 9200.

I'm reluctant to go with SC because of all the problems I've read about with the 530. A receiver doesn't do me any good if I'm constantly fighting and replacing it.

For BEV, I've read a lot about HD quality issues due to compression.

To me it seems like either way I'll have problems. Putting your personal bias aside, which would you recommend?

Hey Gant,

I was debating this a few weeks ago and ended up going with SC (it's being installed this afternoon) - mostly because it seems they are less picky about US subs, their pricing seems better (especially with sports NHL/NFL) and other miscellaneous reasons that I found in this forum.

Read some of the other threads on this forum, there is a ton of very useful information - and also check out the Bell/SC web sites.

One thing I haven't resolved yet: who to use as a broker - if someone has a good recommendation or wants to work something out, could you send me a PM?
