SC/DSR305&315_VCII box

I have 2 SC stb's;1 is DSR305 and the other DSR315.They have both been previously activated.Can either be used for FTA on DCII sats,either KU or Cband??
Secondly,I was given an old VC II box and accessories today.Are there still analog stations viewable with it?What kind of LNB does it need?Thanks

You can get some "fixed key" items on ANikF1 KU (Shaw Direct satellite) with the 305 and 315
351 access
354 knowledge
392 shopping
825 voice print
828 CKUA

thats really about it. Those receivers are fixed to Shaw DIrect maps so even if you do a master reset they will only grab the Shaw maps

Thanks a lot Iceberg.I think one of your old posts spoke of the early SC boxes being able to show unscrambled DC II signals.I have one packed away somewhere from '96.I'm hoping it is usable.

very possible but I know the 315 can only get the "maps" for Shaw. I have one here and I've tried to get other maps but nothing
