Satwork st3618 upgrade. How hard is it and what would it buy me?

Has anyone upgraded there Satwork ST3618? Is it hard?
I got mine working last night and want to know what it will buy me?

Yes, I've updated mine. Get in touch with Iceberg, he helped me do it.

I had a 3618 for abut 2 weeks (really didnt have a use for it), but I di download the newest software to it.

scroll down to Satwork 3618 and download the 4 files
right click and save to computer
top and bootm ones are the programs
second and third are FAQ's

You have to use a M-F straight through 9 pin cable. Hook it up to receiver and computer. Takes about 10 minutes

-Thing to rememebr is when they say power off and back on, they mean the switch in back..NOT the remote

how can i tell which version of the software i already have installed? when i bought my reciever in november i was told that the latest software was installed.

When mine boots up I see a blue Satworks screen and in the bottom right corner it states V6
