Satwork 3618 with 3688 firmware

Has anyone been able to flash successfully Satwork 3618 with 3688 firmware? If yes would you share your results?

I have heard it is possible to change the software in a 3618 to the 3688 software but have never done it, you would also need the 3688 remote as there are three extra buttons on the 3688 remote. I guess a universal/learning remote may work, let us know if you are successful please.

I've been told by a guy that he flashed his satwork 3618 with 3688 firmware. Also by his words he says that the remote has the buttons but you have to drill the extra holes on it. Haven't checked it yet, hopefully will do it soon.
The only problem he said is that the layout of the remote changes to that on 3688 one. Maybe somebody that's more into that stuff will confirm the results.

I will find out tomorrow, I think I would rather spend the extra $25 on a 3688 remote rather than butcher an Innocent 3618 remote : )
