I was wondering if anyone on here gets any ITC channels on the Satmex satellites in Ku. 113 and 116.8. I have been catching transponders but haven't got any channels from them. I have caught channels/feeds on every other Ku bird I have scanned besides these.

113 yes...see thelist at the top. 12080 H is very strong

116.8 sort of

If you look at the map attached
http://www.satmex.com/files/pdf/satmex5.pdf

all of the KU is on KU2 beam which is the 3rd page of the pdf. Both myself (Minneapolis) and you (in New Hampshire...if your location is right) are outside of the 46 beam which means you need a larger dish. I am at least close to the cutoff. My 30" can barely get them...about 5% of the time. heck I put the 6 footer on them to get a decent signal
You may need a 1.2m dish at minimum to lock any feed on there. To aim the dish you can try 11740 V 30000. Its a data TP and will lock fine (it must be on KU1 footprint which is more giving for the northern states) and go from there

The only thing I watch is BVN, 12080 H on that bird. Strong signal for me in Montana on a 30" Winegard.

I suppose I could have a tree blocking it. I will try to repeak the dish for that one but I don't have a good signal on it right now. I need to hurry up and wack a couple of these pine trees. I have almost nothing on 97w, 101w is blocked by a branch. I am beginning to think one is in the way of El Satmex.
