SatelliteGuys.US DishNetwork Uplink Activity Discussion - Week Ending 12/08/2007

So, now that SPIKV is "available", anyone checked out what it is, for us poor saps who are stuck at work?

Appears to be Spike. Currently showing "Spike's Most Amazing Videos"

Looks identical to SPIKE on 168....

I'm at work too, but work from home with a TV in the office :)

Wonder what HDBT2 is...

9651 - HDBT2 [MPEG4 HD] added to EchoStar9 121W TP 02 ConUS beam (Not Available)

I remember some installers saying they've done a few Superdish w/ 622 installs at some movie theaters for an Opera show coming up. I bet this has something to do with that.

Let's all be thankful they are adding a couple more HD channels.

It may or may not be the specific channels each of us wanted... but it is TWO more HD channels. It definately gives us a bit of hope.

Sci-Fi Hd and Dig what are the MT34 MPEG4 SD. Looks like some SD stuff going over to MPEG4. :)

Ohh yeah, I saw that thread. For some reason I overlooked the 121 as 129. So whatever it is, most of us won't get it anyway.

Yeah I wonder what is all the MT SD Stuff their moving to MPEG4 which is good more things on MPEG4 the better.

SciFi HD and USA HD!!!

Dish, you just saved yourself a subscriber!!!

Woo hoo!!!

Well that's two more that Dish added that Direct had so it looks like Dish is adding those hand few of HD Channels Direct had that Dish did not.

Well either way things will even out Dish and Direct in long run will have about the same HD as they do SD. It will come down to price who has better hardware and service so forth. But glad to see more HD and Sci-Fi HD a big plus with BattleStar starting back up in 08. :)
