Where did you get the code from bhawley?

I got a code from logitech for 50% off one item. It's different from the one posted, so I'm guessing they're single use codes.

Interesting post on the Logitech website forum, bold is mine. Strange that it took my order.
Re: Coupon Code 50% off - Logitech Forums

Make sure the item is not on sale or a bundle. You can call into Sales as well to use the code. Always make sure to read the conditions as they maybe slightly different depending on the promotion.

Here are the exceptions:
Please note that some conditions apply:
- Code is only used on the Logitech website (www.Logitech.com)
- Can only be used for one purchase and for one similar product.
- Is only valid for 30 days from the date that the code was issued.
- Does not apply to any Sale priced items, Bundles, Refurbished, Dented, OpenBox, Revue, accessories and parts, or any taxes and shipping costs.

You tried to help bhawley. That is more than some can say. You win Poster of the Day as far as I am concerned.

You've been bamboozled by some laziness on the part of costanzas_wallet. COGS (always capitalized) is an acronym for Cost of Goods Sold.

A better term to use would be manufacturing cost.

It does indeed refer to Cost of Goods Sold. According to most reports this price is below the current COGS. Either they intend to make money on apps and accessories (It works in the game console business) or they have other plans----like getting out or switching to a unit with a lower COGS.

I got my box in from Amazon and I have to say that I really like it. The only problem I have is that the keyboard is not backlit. Other than that, I have my Netflix and everything ready to go on my TV and don't have to turn on anything else, which was my objective. Now, I will get it connected to my NAS and it will be great. Well spent $99 as far as I am concerned.

Does anyone think that the networks are ever going to play ball on this thing? That would really make a huge difference in the value of this product to me.

I wish they would.

They are the ones pushing video on the internet... then when you get something that plays video from the internet they block it... I don't get it.

DISH is dropping the price on the Revue to $99 next week... now only if they would drop their STUPID $4 fee...

I hope all those people that buy the Revue from Dish due to the lower price try to access Dish Online through it. I'm sure they will be not very pleased to see that the Revue is not supported when trying to watch a video via DOL.

And that $4 fee...ridiculous!

That all aside, I am enjoying accessing HBOGo and other various sites (to watch the live BBC broadcast of Formula One races) through the Revue.

when DISH had the Dishplayer which used Web TV at least for awhile you could not access the DISH website through the browser. Details, details.

See, I really don't have a problem with the $4 fee on my 722K. I guess I would on a 922, since I would already be at $10. I like the additional search enough to keep the integration. I tried it both ways and I like the integration. It also allows me to locate the 722K in my Living Room, use my HDMI extender to get video to GTV in bedroom and everything still works. My living room TV already had netflix. In the bedroom, I use GTV.
