SatelliteGuys Radio Not Available on Roku TunedIn App

What is the reason that SatelliteGuys Radio is available on the iPhone TunedIn app, but not on the Roku TunedIn app?

The Roku does not support AAC audio streams.

Was afraid that this was the case. Any chance of providing a different stream for Roku?

Been asking folks in the streaming forum to see if WION's AAC works on newer Rokus....nobody has reported back.
I think the newer model (at least the 3) does AAC. My older ones (more than a year) do not. But, no luck getting a report on that yet.
We're also on TuneIN with that situation. Would be nice if solved by the newer hardware, and may justify a purchase.

No I have a ROKU 3 and it does not play WION or SatelliteGuys Radio.

Darn. But you saved me money.
Guess Roku can handle it (AAC) and TuneIN won't! The Roku specs say they play AAC! (unless I'm reading something into that.)
Will use my money at the Flea Market in Lansing today instead.

It may be that TuneIn doesnt want to make a separate app for the Roku3, instead they just have a Universal app.

I will email TuneIn today and see if I can bug them a bit.
