I live in The Bahamas where the fastest internet I can get is via DSL, and it maxes out at about 3 Mbps. (Yes, Megabits, not Megabytes.) Does anybody know which, if any, satellite internet provider has the best speed - particularly for my area, maybe (for instance, anybody actually in The Bahamas or someone in nearby South Florida) - and what kind of speed am I actually likely to get, as I am aware that the speeds that they all advertise are very seldom actually recognised.
