Satellite connection needed?

If I have MRV enabled, and recordings on a pair of HR21s, can I watch that content from an H25 via ethernet without a satellite connection on the H25?

Similarly, if I replace one of my HR21s with an HR34, could I use the old HR21 for play-back only from the HR34 via ethernet? I would be moving the HR21 to a location that has an ethernet connection but no satellite connection.
