From what I can read on search engines, he took regular satellite equipment and "rebranded" it to make it sound more fancier than it really was, and charge high prices for it.

Also, he had his own TV show, does anyone have a recording of it?

Funny you should mention that. I typed his name into google and found he created "Wizard Programming" back in 1994. Wasn't "the wizard" a pirated VC2 chip or something?
