Your chart suggests otherwise
May I be so bold to ask what constitutes proof? The changes suggested seem to be general knowledge.
And, one concern: I might be stupid here, but, I am having trouble figuring out the vertical scale. Is there any meaning? It sort of looks like three levels, small satellites at the top, mixed in the middle, and large satellites at the bottom.. but I find no common attributes among the satellites depicted in those levels. Perhaps it was a matter of convenience in creating the picture?
There isn't any meaning to the vertical scale. Mainly I put the more "important" birds as the biggest and the less important as the smallest. But the reason that they are different sizes is to accommodate all of the satellites on to one chart.

129 isnt Echo 5....thats at 148 right now
Ciel II is at 129 for DBS
Echo 2 is dead...blew up a year or so ago
Echo 1 is on the move right now to 77 or 72ish I forget

all are DBS (so techncally KU)
Dish only has one KU linear satellite and that is at 121...all the rest are circular polarity

Add AMC 4 to AMC 2 at 101W
Satmex 6 should be blue in color
AMC 18 should be red in color
Maybe do 2 entries for 129W since Galaxy 27 and Ciel II are 2 seperate sats...G27 has C and KU payloads...and possibly the same with 125W where Galaxy 14 (C) and AMC21 (KU) are 2 seperate birds...similar to what you did at 105W...

While technically correct, putting two birds at the same orbital location will complicate the visual design. IMHO.
Well it's just a simple chart and if you don't like my chart, make your own. And furthermore, several different satellite lists show different things and obviously known of them show the same thing. So in short, get it over it ok.
So do you now see the trouble I'm having. I've been shown 4 different charts and I'm unsure which ones are out of date and which ones are good.
None of the charts are 100% accurate, even with respect to what sats are active on what bands. I know of one CONUS satellite which is not shown correctly, with respect to what bands it has, on ANY of the popular satellite charts. Lyngsat is probably the most accurate chart out there. Personally, while I admire the effort, I think trying to make a chart to compete with Lyngsat is re-inventing the wheel and starting by making it square.
Well my whole purpose for doing this is not to show exactly what each bird does or their signal or distance from the earth or their orbital pattern or blah blah blah. I made the chart so when, even using a Birdog, you can look at the chart to see, "Oh ok, I need to go two birds to the left or right to find the one that I need!" That's all the chart is for; it's intended purpose is not to specifically state how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop but rather to give you an idea of where each bird is.

I have been trying to make that PDF into a poster to hang in the garage. I have not been very successful, when I make it larger it loses it's resolution and the font looks dull. How big is your printed copy?
