sat reception

I am having a problem with the streamer sat reciever. The "aquireing signal" comes up quite often but i am still showing good signal strength . Have cleaned the contacts on the docking station and reciever but it still seems to give me problems. I have this unit mounted in a peterbilt ... any idea's would be appreciated.

Sorry can't help. My damn xm cuts out all the time whenever it feels the need too. What a waste of money. Sending back will have to wait 2 weeks before new one. I'm looking forward to the break. FM here I come (for how long is up to xm).
