Peaked a dish 1000.2 with an Accutrac 3+ meter. Reading on 119 is 70, 110 is 65, and 129 is 60. Receivers are a 211 and 222k.
Both receivers lock and identify 110 and 119. When you use the point dish function for 129, the message states wrong satellite. The check switch matrix says 110 ok, 119 ok, 129 "conn". I have cleared the matrix with the satellite unplugged and taken a software download.
I checked a freinds dish 1000.2 that is receiving 129 with the Accutrac + meter and the only difference is that the 129 signal is 40 on his system. His receiver is a 722.
I have readjusted my dish multiple trimes and the result is the same. What else could be wrong? The Accutrac 3 meter shows the 129 signal as there, but the receiver will not lock on the 129 satellite. I have covered each LNB to confirm the presence of all three satellites 110, 119, 129. Is it possible that I am receiving 61.5 as the third. Seems unlikely, since peaking 119 will usually give you all three.

Any suggestions would be helpful. Is it possible that I need to sacrifice some signal on 119 to move over West in the sky for 129?

61.5° is a LOOOONG way from 129° azimuth wise (67.5° difference), so it is highly unlikely you have it instead of 129°; unless, you have one of those futuristic satellite dishes that can look sideways or around corners.

Is this a new install? Are the receivers activated and software updates downloaded?

me thinks you are getting 101,110 and 119.
the order in the check switch should be 119 first, then 110 and lastly 129.
does the meter you use ID the sat or just show signal?
drop your elevation a couple of degrees and move dish 10 degrees to the right from behind the dish if this is indeed the case.
double check your settings found in install manual or at dishpointer.com

Is there two locations where 110 and 119 will produce adequate signal, but only one a few degrees to the west that includes 129? If that is true, that is the answer to my current problems. My meter does not ID the satellites, it does show three strong 60+ signals at the western location of 110 and 119. The third satellite reading must not be 129. That is the downfall of an accutrac III meter and the extreme advantage of using a birdog or meter that can identify satellites.

If after you run the checkswitch it shows 129 then you're hitting 129. Then to peak it when you go to the signal screen a lot of times it will lock onto something such as 119 and tell you wrong satellite, just try changing the transponders. Like earlier posted, change to transponder 21 and wait. It should lock unless your signal is way low, but if checkswitch shows you hitting it, you know you're there, it's just a matter of peaking.

TWC 2 info anyone?
