Sat 119 Transpndr 6 Whats Up?

New user here...

I searched the forum first but saw nothing specific on transponder 6.

I've had sporadic performance on sat 119 tp 6 channels for a couple of weeks now. Just finished with my 3rd call to Dish and the rep admitted there were problems with 119 transponder 6, but couldn't give any details.

Anyone know whats up with this transponder? Shuttle launch coming up and I need my NASA TV!

Is this a new install? If so, call Dish and have them look at it. You have 90 days warranty on the installation.

What kind of equipment do you have? Receivers? Try swapping a receiver and see if the problem stays. Most likely your problem is the cable. Is it swept tested to 2300 Mhz? Can you run a new cable or replace the connectors?

As to your question, no there is nothing wrong with transponder 6 at 119. Getting 103 signal strength here in the Bay Area and no problems.
