Hello, I have a Samsung HLS5688W DLP tv and I am trying to connect my Macbook to the PC input. The Samsung TV does not recognize that my macbook has been connected.
However, when I connected my PC laptop to the PC input, I got a picture on the screen and the PC input on the DLP was enabled. While the PC input on my DLP was still the active source, I connected my macbook to the PC input and I got the DLP to display the macbook screen. When I rotate through the DLP input sources at that point though, the PC input is not available again.
I went into the DLP service menu to look for a way to permanently enable the PC input on the DLP thinking that would fix my issue. However, when I went into the service menu, I found a grayed out option called "PC Ident AUTO."
Is there a way that I can gain access to that option to set it to ON?
