Samsung remote to control HR22

Is it possible for me to use my Samsung TV remote to control the HR22? If so does anyone know the code so I can program the remote. Thanks

i have two samsungs and i've never been able to do this so from personal experience I say no. sorry jay.....

damn that sucks.........my dog loves directtv remotes, ill be going on my fourth remote =P

The only oem remotes with preset code for the current line of directv receivers are ALL made by UEI, and if it were made by UEI the code would either be 1377 or 01377.

UEI is the same company that makes the white Directv remotes.
