My Samsung LCD TV has a Native Resolution of 1366 X 768. Should I set my Dish 211output to 720p or 1080i. When I use 1080i the TV displays 1900 X 1080 with a Hor. of 33KHZ. when I use 720p it indicates 1268 X 720 with Hor. of 45KHZ. I do not see any scaling going on. th TV just seems to accept either one. I still am not sure whether to use 720p or 1080i. Am i really seeing 1900 X 1080? Can anyone using this setup give me a suggestion please.

Thanks, Richard (rwalsh@knology.net)

You are not seeing 1920x1080, you are seeing 1366x768. Same thing with 720p.

Just set the output resolution to whatever you think looks best.

I get better results with 1080i on my JVC lcd and 720P on my sharp lcd and 1080i on my JVC RPT, just look for detail and what ever looks the best, go with it.
