Same error message on HR24

The other day I turned on the TV and saw the start on a Simpsons Ep on FXX. I wanted to see the rest of the the show so I hit record and got the message "your receiver isn't authorized to record this program". I hit record about 5 times all with the same message. I finally had to hit guide then record and it worked. This happened once before to my wife while trying to record everybody loves Raymond on TVLand. It seems to work fine every other time. Not sure what's happening.

I've read several reports about this. Apparently it's just a glitch. Fortunately, as you found out, using the guide allows you to record.
