Fair enough. But does it require a different uplink center or new fiber to send a CONUS feed vs. a Spotbeam, or to different satellites?
Spot beam satellites have to reuse the uplink frequencies just like they reuse the down link frequencies. Essentially a bunch of antennas pointed at different uplink locations to reuse the same uplink frequencies. CONUS satellites can just take a signal from anywhere. So, if they want to move a local from CONUS 77 they have to get the local to the specific uplink station for the spot beam they want it to appear on.
