Considering the channels are off by 150mhz if you use a Universal LNB on Analog...
(and I have no idea what that does to the mapped channels on 4D)...
I'd assume an Analog could still find Vertical channels in the same place with a bandstacked LNB, but not Horizontal channels
(or did I get that backwards?)
So, it's doubtful a 4D would be at -
all- happy with a bandstacked LNB.
Modern DVB FTA receivers, and of course PCI cards, should have no trouble at all.
Support of "DP-OCS", is one of the first features the hack community seems to add.
And frankly, it should be in all factory firmware, to help promote bandstacked solutions in FTA.
I was curious if these were weatherproof for offset dish use.
This was based on the recently posted concern that all prime feed LNBs are aimed down and can drain from the front,
but most all offset LNBs are aimed up and need to be waterproof at the front?
