We got a dish for our travel trailer about a year ago. During that time we've gone on about a dozen camping trips and we've always had our local stations wherever we went. But now we're on a two week trip farther from home and suddenly I can't get locals.
My locals are on sat 110 and spotbeam 23 (dish 500 with 301 receiver). I get 119 and 110 without problem but spotbeam 23 has zero signal.
I can only guess that since I'm 300 miles from home that the spotbeam is centered on the area around my hometown. All of our other camping trips since we got the dish for the RV have been within 100 miles of home. So we've been spoiled into thinking that we'll always have our locals where ever we go.
Is there anything I can do on this two week trip to get my locals or am I just out of luck?
