Rumor NO MORE!, SpeedHD, FX HD & More THIS WEEK! (NOW LIVE)

Sigh... now FX HD not being on Absolute does kind of bother me...will it make me abandon Absolute and move to a Turbo HD package? Probably not... I can still watch most FX shows on Hulu... but cool to have more HD programming on a grandfathered package!
 
How long does a re-authorized take? I called a little over an hour ago and still no Speed HD or FX HD.

I admit I was doubter Wednesday, I'm had my faith reaffirmed today:D Thanks to Scott, Digi, JohnH and all the others at SatelliteGuys that work so hard. This is why I paid for two years on this site. I recommmend all others do the same.

Now, how about Outdoor Channel HD and RFDTV HD :) :)

So once again, Dish Network is giving new HD channels to packages that had no price increase AND not giving the channels to the TurboHD packages that had a $10 price increase -- even when Charlie specifically said that price increase would be worth it because of all the new HD coming.
It's worth it to CHARILE, not to the turbo subs. (Thank stinks by the way) :(

i have 250 and gold but i am not getting SPEED HD?
Do i have to do something to get it?

That's the package I have and it was just there for me... do you see it in your guide? If not try a power-cycle on your receiver and see if it will download the guide. Then if you see it in red in the guide - call and get an authorization re-hit.

BTW - I have a 211 with hard drive DVR and a superdish 1000.

Call Dish Network Tech Support and ask for an authorization rehit. Talk nice, some CSRs don't know that new channels came on today. You might be able to follow automated prompts about "channel I should have" I had to talk to CSR about 10 minutes and the rehit did the trick. A check switch and receiver reboot didn't.
 
Thanks to this website and this thread, specifically. I have AEP, premiums, Gold & Platinum HD. CSR and (alleged) supervisor told me FX HD and Speed HD were not active. I asked for a hit on my receiver and was told they are not authorized to do that, but transferred me to the technical department.

The pleasant woman there laughed and said I was the second one who reached her today with that problem. FX HD and Speed HD turned on in a minute (while she stayed on the line to verify that they were on).
