My Dad mentioned an odd refund on his Dish bill and sent me a copy. Anyone know what this is for?

If he has been paying that $1 surcharge for at least five months, then it looks like Dish is refunding five months' worth of that. This may also help go toward answering the question raised in the 2021 Dish Prices thread, about whether Dish is going to continue charging that surcharge going forward. Not only does it look like Dish may be eliminating it, but now with this refund, they seem to be finally admitting that they have been overcharging subscribers all along.
