Can you stream MKV movies from your PC via Roku 3?

MKV files should work as long as they contain H.264 video and AC3 (2 channel) audio. The 5.1 channel audio doesn't work reliably and may only work if you have additional equipment attached. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-prep-your-videos-for-playback-on-the-roku-3/
