I was looking to buy some RG6 cable to hookup a new DirecTV HDTV receiver. When I went to Home Depot all they had was RG6/U cable. Is this the same as RG6 and is it ok to use this type??
Some folks say the "U" means universal. Others believe the jury is still out on what it means. Most major manufactures use the "U" in their designations to insure they do not loose sales from a buyer who might surmise that cables with the designation are better than ones without it.
