RG6 or RG59??

I got a big spool of coaxial cable given to me but there isnt any marking on it telling what type of cable it is.Can anyone tell me how to figure it out as I need RG6????..Thanks

Try putting an RG-6 connector on it. It won't work with RG59 , you'll find.

RG6 is also a fatter cable than RG59. If you have any cable that you know is 59 or 6, just compare the two.
