Revolution

Did anyone notice the picture of the presidents on the wall ? Clinton and Obama were next to each other while Bush (# 43) and Reagan were next to each other (with someone above them too, probably H W). They were grouped by party, not order of presidency.

I only noticed Bush and, since Rachel mentioned The Tower was a doomsday site for Cheney, I assumed the lights went out during the Bush administration. I'll have to go back and watch that part while they were in the bunker. Speaking of bunker, in the background I thought I saw a teapot that look a lot like Hitler. But perhaps I'm mistaken. :D

At first, they only showed George W and I thought the same thing, that the power went out while he was president. Later shots showed multiple presidents, including Obama.

Actually I didn't notice that.Interesting.

I noticed that the presidents were not in order of inauguration. I did not notice that they were grouped by part. At first I thought that they changed the history as we know it then I saw the last three presidents there in a different order.

Absolutely noticed it.

The lightening storm in the preview for next week shows that they did turn the power back on.

How long they keep it on is another story.

I thought that graphic was kind of silly because the power cannot be turned-on after 15-years with a flip of the switch. Someone would have to fire-up the nukes and countless other power plants, and I'm sure the entire grid would be in a terrible state of disrepair.

I try to avoid the previews. They have gotten terrible about spoilers with some shows. Falling Skies is one of the worst.

I assumed since the notebook had been destroyed they no longer knew how. Must be another way.

I thought about that when they got in there, turn the switch on and amazingly everything works after all they been thru, not likely.

I watched Safe Haven earlier tonight with my girlfriend and noticed the character that plays Miles was in the movie along with Cobie Smolders (the one that plays Robin on How I Met Your Mother). He played a cop in the movie (an authority of power again) and was not the good guy. He took his power and done wrong. Kind of reminds me of his character on Revolution some.

I imagine some sort of surprise that we don't know about will be in store.

I thought the graphic was just that. I certainly did not take it to mean that they flip a switch and the world lights right back up.
