We purchased a Tailgater & receiver package on June 18th it was shipped to us on the 19th. We tried using it northwoods of WI over the 4th and had problems getting a signal. The trees are too high so we had issues getting a southern exposure. We generally camp in the same place so there was no point keeping it. I chatted with a rep to return and I was told to take it to a retailer. I bought directly from DISH. I pressed on and I was told that I was not allowed to return the system because I bought the reciever vs. leasing it. I noted the 30 day return policy and that we were with in the window. I was then told to send it to one of three addresses. Don't I need a return authorization #. I am worried that if I just send it back even insured it will get lost.
