Perhaps this is a naive question but might the 129 problems be minimized or eliminated with a larger reflector plate on a dedicated dish? I'm in the PacNW and even people who have dedicated a D1000 are getting an iffy signal on 129.
As I recall the construction of the reflector plates, they are not hard to replace and one would think them to be relatively inexpensive. Does anyone make oversize retrofit reflector plates for the dish 300 or 500 installs? Thanks.
Bill
