Resolution change

OTA is native resolution. It doesn't take extra time to change resolutions between channel changes. If Directv was the same, it wouldn't be a big deal. But it's not. And the OP clearly has a problem. Why would anyone want to have a TV experience that has black screen flashes all the time? It is a big time distraction. Friends notice it, too. I tried native resolution for a bit after all the fanboys posted about it. It is worthless. It even does it when you're watching ESPN and a local commercial that is 1080i is inserted. It is annoying and unprofessional.
Your wrong. It I watch CBS OTA and switch to Fox OTA the same 2-3 second resolution change happens from 1080i to 720P as using Native on for directv
