Reset Hopper Through Dish Anywhere App

My Hopper 3 doesn't seem to be responding when using my DA app. When I check its status in the app, it shows red, but I'm unable to reset my receiver. Older versions of the DA app would allow one to restart the receiver, but I haven't seen it as an option for a while.
I'm not able to get to my receiver at the moment, but is there any way to imitate a reset of the receiver remotely? My home network appears to be working, and my hopper is hardwired through a switch.
If I call dish tech support, could they initiate a reset via the satellite stream?

Here is another thought, is it possible for the OP to remotely reboot his router? It might, maybe, reestablish the connection between the router and the Hopper. I know I have an Xfinity Gateway (modem-router combo) and I can remotely reboot it.

So it turns out my hopper lost power, due to a tripped gfci.
I can restart my router, but in this case it wouldn't have helped.
The old dish anywhere had the ability to remotely reboot the receiver, under the settings page, and now that I have connection, see the feature is still there, at least to reset the hopper.
