This is probably "old news", but the transition to AMC-21 appears to be moving ahead at full speed.

Blind scan picks up :

12140/V/29997 PBS HD x 2 channels (1 is 24/7 colorbars saying
"All downlinks should move to AMC-21 at 125 degrees W.L.
AS SOON AS POSSIBLE"

12180/V/30000 PBS feeds x 9
12104/V/4340 Montana PBS

These figures came from the Visionat IV-200.

Now I'm stylin' with a Twinhan 1020a clone and running TSReader with VLC as the player, and PBS HD is awesome with Video->Deinterlace->Mean setting, sucking down about 15-20% of the CPU (Core2 duo 6300 @ 1.866 Ghz, 2 GB RAM).

Picture is gorgeous - my first taste of HD FTA. Was a great program on Krakatoa last night, and an Austin City limits today that were all the better for being HD. :)
