Request: need info of Satellite 118

Hello all,

I am trying to move to a new apartment and want to find if i can view Internation channels on satellite 118 from my house.

Is there a way i can find the angle needed for this satellite to check with my compass. I know we need to have line of sight in south-west but need more details to check.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

virtually the same pointing as 119. If you have a dish receiver already, go to dish pointing, plug in your zipcode and select dish 300 and satellite 119. It will give you all the required angles.

I did try in System Setup > installation > Point Dish option giving my zip code (32771) but i did not give me any angles. Sm i looking at the wrong option?

Please post a picture of your Point Dish screen.

The lnb for 118 is a part of the lnb for 119 on + dishes. If you can find 119 you will also get 118.

Before D500+/D1000+ I made the separate LNBF by myself from regular linear Ku LNBF.

If you are using a D500+ or D1000+ per thelist it shows
118.7°W Anik F3 Ku
elevation 37.2°
azimuth 243.2°
dish skew 47.9°...skew that amount off of 90
