I just recently ordered a 1000.4 antenna from Ebay and I am waiting for it to arrive. Currently I have 2 Dish antennas outside, one for 110/119 and another one for 61.5. I am going to keep my 110/119 still because there are some Spanish channels that I do not want to lose, so I will be replacing the 61.5. My question is, how do I go about replacing the 61.5 to the 1000.4? Do I need a DPP switch and more cables? If someone can explain to me exactly what I need and what do I have to do, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you wanted to keep 110, 119, and the whole 1000.4 setup then you would need a couple of DPP44s switches. It is probably not necessary for you to have all of these satellite positions. Check the satellites to see which ones you really need.
Well, I need 110 because of the Spanish sports channels like Fox and ESPN Deportes. It looks like I probably will not need 119 so much because most of the channels are mirrored either on 72.7 or 77. So, can I use the cable that is going into the 119 LNB and plug that into the 72.7 LNB? I am going to use the cable that is in my 61.5 wing dish and just move that to the 61.5 slot on the 1000.4 when I take the wing dish down. But, I still need another cable going into the 77 slot. How do I go about doing this? Thanks a lot.
P.S. This is for my business and I only have one receiver which is a 211

You only have to hook one coax to the 1000.4
There is a in-port on the 1000.4 to hook up the 119.
With 4 satellites, you don't need any switches. You don't have to unhook 77.

So this is what I am going to do:
1) Once I get my 1000.4 Dish, I am going to take down my 61.5 wing dish
2) Once I put the 1000.4 up, I am going to take one coax cable and plug that into the 61.5 slot; take the 119 coax cable and put that into the 72.7 slot
3) After doing that, I still have the 77 slot to fill. Once I get a seperate coax cable for that, where do I connect that to? In other words, where does the other end of the cable go to once I put it into the 77 slot?
What you want to do will not work, because the EA lnbf has a built in switch, and if you hook a coax to port 1 of the lnbf, all three satellites come through.
To do what you want, you'll need an external switch...a DPP44 to be exact. Each sat will be hooked up independently of the EA switch through the dpp44.

This is easy. Set up the 1000.4 as directed, and use the dish (and LNB) you currently have at 61.5, pointed at 110. This means you'll have a 110w wing dish going to the IN port on the 1000.4 LNB instead of a 61.5 wing dish on the IN port of your DPPTwin. No multiswitch necessary. You can't have a DDPTwin and an EA 1000.4 dish at the same time, but you can use a DishPro Dual LNB (the one you have on 61.5) on the IN port of the EA dish.
The simplest and least expensive way to do this is:
- Run the 119 lnb coax over to the sat in port on the 1000.4
- The 1000.4 lnb has 3 out ports to support 3 receivers
- You'll need 1 coax for each receiver that you want to have active
- You'll be connected to 61.5/72.7/77/119
So, if I remove the 110 coax cable and plug that into the LNB in port in the 1000.4, and use the coax cable I am going to remove from my 61.5 wing dish once I take it down and put that into the 61.5 slot in the 1000.4, will I get reception in all the satellites? All the satellites being 61.5/72.7/77/110 (I don't need 119). Or, would I need individual cables to plug into 72.7 and 77? Thanks again. And if I do it like this, do I need a DPP switch?
Except for the new HD which may be on the way why would you want a 1k4.

ONCE MORE: Unwire the DPPTwin and the wing dish, loosen all mounts. Put the wing dish where the DPPTwin used to be (pointing at 110), put the 1000.4 on the mast that used to have the wing dish (pointing at 61.5). There are three outputs on the 1000.4 and one input. Run the wing dish output (it's a single cable) to the IN port on the 1000.4. Run any output cables that you used to have on the DPPTwin from the OUT port(s) of the 1000.4. It's not rocket science. Dial in the EA dish first, then plug in and peak the wing [110] dish afterwards.

Ok, I understand. One last thing, what if I keep the wing dish where it is and just point that to 110 and remove the 110/119 dish I have now and replace that with the 1000.4? Will that work? Thanks again.

On the dpp44, simply attach a coax from each dish pro lnb, maximum of 4 lnb's...61.5_72.7_110_119. You'll have 2 cables (61.5/72.7) coming from the 1000.4, and 2 from the d500 (110/119). That dpp44 is an expensive switch.

Run a coax from the wing dish to the in port on the EA dish.
After that, run one coax from port 1 on the EA dish to your receiver.

That's what I figured. the dpp44 is $79 (not great but not too bad to pick up 4 sats). I don't need 77 so I will input 110/119.
