Replacement Remote

The dog chewed up the remote for my 612, so I've been looking for the best deal on a new one. Unfortunately, every store seems to gouge on shipping (Dish, for example, charges shipping that is almost as much as the cost of the actual replacement part itself). I don't need the remote fast, and would be happy paying for standard mail, which, by all accounts, should only be 3 or 4 bucks.

Can anyone recommend a good replacement remote? Are there any cheap universal remotes that do the trick?

Good call. It's been so long since I last used ebay, that I think I sometimes forget it exists.

It looks like there are 6.3s and 6.4s available. Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but does anyone know what the difference is? Will either work with my 612?

Not sure of the difference, But I know the 5.3,6.3,6.4, 20.0 will work.
The 20.0 looks different,Black and Grey and some of the buttons are in a different spot.
As I've used these on a 612. I'm sure many others will work too.
