replacement remote programming

I have a replacement remote for a customer's Rca Drd 435 and i need to know how to program the remote to the reciever if anyone knows how to do this off the top of their head. thanks!

What remote are you using as a replacement on the DRD435? If it is a Directv white remote it should have come with a booklet with codes. Code 00392 should work for DRD435RH.

If its the standard RCA remote,

1.press and hold SAT key
2. enter code 5000.
