Good Day, about a year ago, I had the 5 LNB antenna, HR20 & H20 receivers installed. Now I would like to replace my 3rd receiver ( Hughs SD) with a H20/H21. DTV's web page indicates that I may be charged $99 installation fee if I do not have RG6 cable currently installed. My question is how do I know if I have RG6 or would this cable have been added to all my receivers when the 5 LNB antenna was installed. I currently subscribe to Total Choice Premier and the HD package.
I had planned on just connecting the HD receiver my self. Thanks for any information provided. pofied

If you've already got the 5-LNB dish, you should have RG6 cable. Grab a flashlight, and take a look at the cable running to the back of the receiver. It may have RG6 (along with some other information) printed on the insulation.

If you don't have it, it's not hard, and certainly not $99-expensive, to go to Home Depot and buy the cable and connectors and run it yourself. But I'd bet you already have it.

Thanks the_e_male, you are correct. All I had to do was to look at the markings on the current Hughs SD receiver cable. In 20-20 hindsight, I should have thought of looking, but I am not that smart. Thanks again, pofied
