As of 1 AM central Monday, there is still no official word on Timeless potential renewal.

Hopefully we'll have some good news later on.

they did announce the fall schedule and it is not on it. Again, it may come in midseason---perhaps after football season

Now it's coming back as "The Conners", minus the matriarch. Apparently, Roseanne accepted a settlement to walk away and save cast & crew jobs....

All new TV shows are crapshoots. Replacing a lead or important player can kill a show but occasionally it succeeds. They managed to do the Andy Griffith Show without Andy. A few dramatic shows have survived lead changes. It might work here. I guess we will find out.

Maybe not. I posted in another thread: "Was Roseanne the reason for the show's success, or the ensemble cast? I never cared for Roseanne individually, but I liked the show. I'll give the new show a chance in the fall...."

NBC is the new Fox when it comes to cancelling TV series. They can't seem to handle anything other than crime dramas.

Timeless was not my cup of tea but I know many here enjoyed it. I feel bad for you. I understand SONY is looking fora new home and there isa possibility ofa (TV)movie to wrap up the loose plot lines.

I've just found out that USA Network's Colony was cancelled(although the news is maybe 5 days old).

There is speculation that Timeless could be picked up by USA network because it is owned by NBC Universal. It would be a simple switch from one part of the company to the other. I hope so because I loved Timeless.
