My dish is mounted on the side of my garage. We don't watch much TV so I sent for my coupons for a digital converter box and purchased an antenna. I would like to remove the dish, use the side mount to set up the antenna, and use the existing cable. I noticed that there is a dual line going from the dish into the house. Just please explain what I need to do. Do I remove all the existing coax cable and replace it with a single line or what? Will I be able to remove the dish and leave the mount?

You can remove the dish and use the mount for your antenna if you'd like. In fact, you can even use the coax line that is currently run. You can pull the two lines apart to make it a single run if you'd like. This will save you the trouble/cost of running new coax. Where the coax enters the home, just connect the coax from each room to a splitter at that location. Then connect your converter boxes and enjoy free digital TV.
